Civil Engineering Firm seeks a current student for an internship opportunity for the summer, 40 hours per week. The ideal student will be currently studying in the Construction Management Technology program; Civil Engineering program or other comparable degree program.
Employer is a full service Civil Engineering Firm that has been serving Indiana, Illinois and Michigan since 1993. We have 19 employees working at our office in Hammond, Indiana serving municipal clients and some industrial clients. We are located 5 minutes from the Purdue PNW Campus on 173rd Street.
This position will involve surveying, design, CAD drafting and construction observation of projects primarily in the fields of water, wastewater, street design and stormwater. We will consider applicants with no experience as well as more experienced candidates. Training will be given and current students will be given an opportunity to work flexible hours to accommodate their studies should employment extend beyond the typical internship period.
